A woman scientist of indigenous descent, creates a new life through artificial intelligence, with hopes for freedom and maternal resolution.

Premiered at Smithsonian, Mayfly is an experimental short film blending regional Indigenous Caribbean language, A.I., and aspirational Indigenous themes about work and labor. After premiering at Smithsonian, our journey continued with notable milestones such as the screening of this seminal work at the Tribeca Film Center, UCLA Film & Television Archive, Vision Maker Media's Producers Summit, University of Toronto, and imagineNATIVE. These achievements underscore the impact of our familial storytelling and advocacy through animated film, reinforcing our commitment to bringing the narratives of Indigenous and Native communities to the forefront of cultural conversations.
